While Ford continued to promote the engine’s superiority, Ford was proceeding with their own claim against Navistar for failing to contribute its share of the substantial warranty costs that Ford was incurring to correct, replace, or repurchase a large number of Ford trucks equipped with the 6.0L Diesel Engine.
